Cooking Challenge

The project was implemented as a team project in the first semester of the master class. Laravel was used for the backend and React Native for the implementation of the frontend application.

The users can compete in cooking challenges. Categories and criteria are named, which the new recipe to be submitted by the users should take into account. The cooking challenge is created on the basis of category surveys, which are made available in the app on a weekly basis. A gamification approach will be used to give users points that will take them to different levels. The recipes will be rated by votes from other users who have tried the recipe. Points will be awarded to all those who have submitted a recipe. Users who have reached certain places at the end of the challenge receive extra points.
